Fuyuan Shen

Ph.D.: University of North Carolina

Fuyuan Shen's research interests include media psychology, marketing communications, advertising and branding strategies. His research has examined the effects of framing and contextual priming on individuals' judgments and cognitions of issues, political candidates and brands.

His work has appeared in such journals as Journal of Advertising, Journal of Communication, International Journal of Advertising and Journal of Advertising Education.

Prior to joining the Penn State faculty, he taught advertising and marketing communications at the University of South Dakota. He currently teaches advertising courses.
