Matthew Jordan

Matthew Jordan, a member of the Department of Film-Video and Media Studies, teaches media studies, film studies, European cultural history, European intellectual history and interdisciplinary approaches to history and culture.

Before joining the faculty at Penn State, he taught at the University of Louisville.

In the past few years, he has presented nearly two dozen papers and had his worked published in a variety of publications.

He earned his doctoral degree at the Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, Calif., and his master's degree at Drew University in Madison, N.J. He earned his bachelor's degree with a double major in history and English at Allegheny College.
