Journalism Workshop
A Two-Week Program (June and July, 2009)
An intensive, two-week workshop blends classroom lectures and practical
experience, allowing students to experience the challenges and excitement
found in the newsroom. While on campus, students get hands-on experience
as they create their own newspaper, a process that includes writing,
editing and taking their own photographs. Along with developing their
journalistic skills, students learn about career and educational opportunities
in the field of communications. Application deadline: March 2009
